I had my MacBook for a decade and it was great while it lasted (the battery was dying on me). But, no matter how you cut it, I’m still way better with a Windows-based computer. PCs are what I grew up with and what I’ve worked with since I graduated. I was so excited after work to sit down and start customizing my new laptop, so naturally the kids are being their usual selves.
We have Microsoft Surface Laptops at work and they’ve grown on me, so that’s what I decided to buy. Green is my favorite color, so when I saw that sage was a color option, I will admit that I felt like a little kid in a candy store. (Or like me in an electronics store) I’ve installed some of the programs I use regularly and some I wish I would use more. Naturally, I felt like making a blog post on our website was appropriate. So far everything is going fairly smoothly. Hopefully, my new toy will motivate me to spend more time on our website.
I’m getting excited about trying out all the new features on this laptop, which means I have a million ideas and projects running through my mind! I think it’s time to let my short attention span and vivid imagination run wild.
Right now I’m enjoying this beautiful weather, Brian is mowing the yard, and the kids are running around like the feral individuals they are. I’m just hoping they tire themselves out so they’ll go to bed without a fight and they let me be for a while so I can play with my new toy.
Wish me luck, I’m sure I’ll need it! Ha ha
